Oaty Choc Chip Cookies

It's a great recipe to make with kids, have in picnic afternoon teas, lunchboxes or on-hand for a healthy treat. Home baking is always a family favourite! 🍪
Recipe makes 12-15 cookies (depending on size)

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups of oats blended (on food processor or blender)
  • 3 tbsp cacao
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp butter or olive oil (you can also mix them)
  • 3 tbsp Manuka Doctor Manuka honey
  • 1/2 cup baking powder
  • 1/3 cup choc chips
  • 1/4 cup of water


Mix all wet ingredients in a bowl and mix until honey has been dissolved. Mix all dry ingredients together into the mixture of wet ingredients. Then add the choc chips.
Add a little additional bit of water if needed (the dough should be sticky).
Prepare a tray with baking paper and use a wet spoon to place small balls of dough on the tray, add some choc chips on top to decorate and bake at 180 degrees for 15 min (conventional oven) or 160 degrees (fan bake) for 12 min.
